Business Consulting and Financial Services for Jerusalem Entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurs who want to open or grow a business face a landscape full of both opportunity and challenge. MATI's core service offers them something they could rarely access on their own: an objective, expert assessment by a professional consultant whose fees would otherwise be far beyond their reach. From an initial needs assessment through the development of a recovery or growth strategy, our consultants accompany entrepreneurs toward stability and lasting success. Thanks to our sponsors and our collaboration with the Jerusalem Municipality and the Ministry of Immigration, we offer this service at a significant discount to Jerusalem business owners, at a symbolic participation fee for IDF reservists, and free of charge for new immigrants.

Access to financing is one of the most critical and most daunting challenges that entrepreneurs face. Securing credit requires fluency in the world of loans, meticulous documentation, professionally crafted business plans, and sustained engagement with banks and funds. For many entrepreneurs, particularly those from disadvantaged communities without formal financial training, this complexity becomes an almost insurmountable barrier. In the private sector, even an initial feasibility study carries a significant price tag before a single application is submitted.

MATI's consultants have rescued and transformed thousands of businesses, impacting not only entrepreneurs themselves, but also their families and the broader ecosystem in which they operate. Our results speak for themselves: we achieve a 70% success rate on loan applications, and have helped small and medium-sized businesses across Jerusalem to raise tens of millions of shekels every year.

Business Consultancy

We begin with an initial hour of consultancy that gives entrepreneurs valuable clarity: a frank look at their situation, guidance on business strategy, and immediate, practical suggestions for pressing problems. Entrepreneurs accepted onto our program are paired with a mentor who is suitably qualified, experienced, and who speaks their language, literally and professionally. They work together for as long as necessary, providing tailored guidance, helping overcome obstacles, and driving real improvements in profitability.

Financial Services

MATI offers a free service to assist entrepreneurs in accessing finance. A professional economist assesses whether a loan is the right move, whether the entrepreneur’s financial position supports it, and which financing track best suits their needs. This diagnostic process costs nothing, because our mission is to protect entrepreneurs from making costly and potentially destructive financial mistakes.

Only when we identify genuine potential for success do we move to the next stage, at a subsidized and highly accessible cost. Our economists develop a strong, costed business plan and guide the entrepreneur through every step, from meetings with banks to applications to funds, until financing is actually secured.

Thanks to our long-standing reputation, we open doors that entrepreneurs could not easily open on their own. We are especially proud of our ability to bridge language and cultural gaps. In Arab society in particular, our close, culturally attuned support dismantles bureaucratic barriers and makes financing genuinely accessible.
